Fields of unknown turbulence. Developed through a residency at MAP (Make Arts Possible), Cagliari, with the support of SpazioMusica and in collaboration with Formati Sensibili and Betty’s Turquoise Chain.

STRATA is a performative and sonic research on the conditions of creation within complex, unstable and partly unpredictable systems. Rather than executing a predefined structure, body, sound and space act as relational devices: the work unfolds as a dynamic ecosystem in which presence, listening, memory, environment, gesture and sonic matter generate temporary configurations in constant transformation. Drawing on the thought of complex systems and stochastic models, uncertainty becomes not a limit but a generative principle. At its core lies the notion of unknowing — not the absence of knowledge, but an operative disposition toward what cannot be fully anticipated, turning unpredictability into an aesthetic, cognitive and relational resource.

STRATA is the first chapter of a shared research dedicated to artistic creation within open and unstable systems, where form and knowledge emerge through action and relation.
