Dalila Kayros

Since 2018 Danilo Casti has been part of Dalila Kayros’s project as electronic musician, composer and arranger. The duo works on the friction between a multi-octave voice — sung, screamed, whispered, layered — and an electronic architecture built with sequencers, synths and drum machines, where generative and deconstructive processes keep the ground moving under the song.

The collaboration brought rhythm and harmony into Casti’s writing and experimental methods into the song form. Two albums so far: ANIMAMI (Subsound Records, 2022), a mystic descent into the unconscious, and KHTHONIE (2025), the sound of the earth’s dual forces — creation and destruction. The live set has travelled Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Poland, Portugal, Austria and the United States.

Dal 2018 Danilo Casti fa parte del progetto di Dalila Kayros come musicista elettronico, compositore e arrangiatore. Il duo lavora sull’attrito fra una voce multi-ottava — cantata, urlata, sussurrata, stratificata — e un’architettura elettronica costruita con sequencer, synth e drum machine, dove processi generativi e decostruttivi tengono il terreno in movimento sotto la canzone.

La collaborazione ha portato ritmo e armonia nella scrittura di Casti e metodi sperimentali dentro la forma canzone. Finora due album: ANIMAMI (Subsound Records, 2022), discesa mistica nell’inconscio, e KHTHONIE (2025), il suono delle forze duali della terra — creazione e distruzione. Il live ha attraversato Italia, Germania, Paesi Bassi, Regno Unito, Polonia, Portogallo, Austria e Stati Uniti.
